How we built and scaled the technology for Warehousing1 – a leading digital fulfilment platform

SolutionWe developed a cutting-edge system and the industry's leading technology, connecting hundreds of different systems. We created NOS, which enables retailers and partners to set up agreements. Additionally, we crafted and innovated WH1+, a platform facilitating the management of inventory, inbound, orders, shipments and returns for merchants using various store systems. It offers integrations with widely used store systems and warehouse management systems, thereby making it seamless. On top of this, customers can also use a portal to manage their orders, track them and request returns

BackgroundWarehousing1 provides a one-stop-shop fulfillment service for fast-growing ecommerce companies and established companies, by bundling logistics services from picking, packaging, storing until hand-over to shipping providers. To build and scale their entire technology Warehousing1 built up a dedicated venture team through GoGroup from day 1. We are still building and growing together today.

ChallengeWarehousing1 orchestrates a network of more than 500 partners and 850 warehouse locations. All of these warehouse providers have their own tech stack with very different levels of technology. It was important to build a middleware to feed into all of these systems, so that large customers like Unilever and others could access all these warehouses with a simple, modern integration.

ImpactThrough this platform Warehousing1 is now handling millions of Euros in volume for 100s of customers. Warehousing1’s success is confirmed by investments of HV Capital, Base10 Partners , Schenker Ventures and other high-profile VCs.
